While there are thousands of jobs writers can do, below are some of my favorite job opportunities to help you grow in your writing career. 1. Freelance Wrting From fiction to non-fiction and from articles to short stories to technical writing, and everything in between, there are writing gigs for you. The best place to find writing gigs is by checking the Freedom with Writing blog. 2. Fiverr Fiverr in itself isn’t a job, but it is a site where you can post gigs of your choice. Customers will ask for your help through your postings which can be writing blog posts and article, editing novellas, or anything else related to writing (or anything really). 3. Editing You can begin offering editing services if you know grammar, syntax, character development, and story archs well. Create a website or post on social media.

4. Teacher You don’t actually have to have a teaching degree to be a teacher. If you have a bachelor’s degree, you can teach English to others, mostly children. There are alot of site, but the one I use is VIPKID. You can use my referral code. If you sign up, let me know and I’ll help you through it. In addition to teaching English, there are sites like Udemy and Skillshare that will allow you to post your own courses. These sites allow users to search through their database of courses. However, if you are able to promote your own course, you can host it on your own website, use Facebook groups, or use a course platform, like Teachable. 5. Coach Are you great at writing, editing, computer science, mindset work, world building, or anything really? In the same manner you can be a teacher, you can be a coach. With coaching, you can offer one-on-one sessions, live training, group sessions, and/or a coaching course. 6. Graphic Design If you are good at Photoshop, Indesign, and/or Illustrator, you may want to be a graphic designer part time. While you can do custom work via Fiverr, Freelancer, or social media, you can make more money by creating downloadable, like calendars, clipart, editable invitations, etc and sell the downloads on Etsy or your own shop.
7. eBook Creator Ebooks are super poplar right now. You can take information you already have in your blog, downloads, and/or coaching programs and turn them into ebooks. Self- publishing on Amazon is pretty easy. You can design the cover and the ebook itself on Canva. 8. PLR Product Seller PLR stands for Private Label Rights. There are thousands of people who create software and ebooks. They then sell those products to PLR sites. Some products can be given away for free. Most of them require you to sell the products. The majority of products require you to maintain the original creators images and citations. Some products allow you to create your own graphics, make edits, and private label them (say that you created the items). You can sell these any where - Fiverr, your website, Etsy, Amazon, and others. 9. Affiliate Links/Marketing Whether you create blog posts with affiliate links or you have a store of all affiliate products, you can make a comission off the products sold. It is a good way to make passive income, but it is not as reliable as some sources of income. 10, Contact Center Now days, many jobs can be done from the comfort of your own home. Being a call center or chat specialist is no different. Why would you want to do a job like that? Well, you probably wouldn’t except for the fact that they usually pay well and you are able to “meet” alot of interesting people. People will end up telling you the most interesting stories or be interesting characters themsleves, helping you with your writing.
