Emelia and The Garden of Indengard
Book One of the Ailause Saga
Emelia and The Garden of Indengard is the story of Emelia Leighton, a 17-year-old clairvoyant who was taken in by
her uncle when her parents died. Her two friends, Genevieve and Celeste, also possess these powers and together
they form a trinity.
On the cusp of graduating, Emelia discovers that her powers run deeper than clairvoyance; she can manipulate the
elements and elevate her body’s physical limitations. These powers require a delicate balance to keep them under
control.
Waiting in the wings to sabotage her powers are the Brothers Magus. The night of her graduation, the large-scale,
crime syndicate, based out of Ailause, targets her uncle’s beloved book haven, Mr. Leighton’s Library and Lounge,
forcing Emelia and her uncle to take a stand.
Long kept secrets work their way out into the open, breaking Emelia’s world apart. In order to protect the ones she
loves, she must cross many worlds, walk through unimaginable lands, and recruit some amazing people, including
the handsome Arius who mentors her on proper power use and the way of the worlds in Ailause.
I have several chapters of book two written. I’ll be continuing the story in NaNoWriMo.
